The sessions that we teach at BSSNY are concentrated on making sure players are comfortable with the ball at their feet. Our sessions have helped to produce ODP and Premier players. BSSNY is focused on developing the most creative players in New York State. We focus on the individual instead of the teams.
BSSNY Alum Bella Sember has completed her first season at NYCFC! She scored 14 goals from 14 games and is the leading goal scorer playing midfield. She also announced that she has committed to University of North Carolina class of 2025.
BSSNY Alum Elijah Kerr recently committed to Wake Forest on of the top ranked college soccer program in the US. We wish Elijah all the best. All the sacrifice that he and his parents put in has finally paid off. We wish him all the best.

BSSNY player Jared participated in the Donostia Cup Tournament in Spain in June 2015. He was a part of a UK Elite All Star team in the tournament. Jared was the team’s captain. According to Jared, the experience was something that he will never forget. It has been a whirlwind career for Jared. Having started playing soccer about three years ago, he has practiced with BSSNY head coach Horace McFarlane to improve his skills and shooting. In three years Jared has improved so much that he has moved from the Manhattan SC 4th team to one of their two U13 Premier teams.
BSSNY Alum Candice Stewart trained with us for 3 years while representing East Meadows FC. She is currently a student at West Point, where she also plays soccer; she will be graduating in May. All the best from Horace and the staff at BSSNY.
BSSNY Jafi Alexis was invited to practice at the prestigious AC Milan, Eintracht Frankfurt Youth Academy. He has also represented US teams to the prestigious Mundialito Tournament in Spain/Portugal. He was a Member of Cedar Star Soccer Club. He is now a member of the NYFC U13 Academy team.
BSSNY Bella Sember is currently a member of Albertson U13 Boys Premier, even though she is only 12. She is also a member of the US National U12, 11v11 and Futsal teams. She was also invited to train with the AC Milan (Italy) and Barcelona Youth Academies (Spain).
Bella’s sister Ruby Sember was made the regional call up for the US National Futsal team. Ruby is 11. She was also invited play with the AC Milan Academy.
Izzy Branco-Lo, has worked with BSSNY the last 2 years, is on the rise. From Manhattan SC GU17 United, she has been invited to national team tryouts outside the USA

BSSNY Diego Dallas has been with us since he was 6 years old. In 2014, after attending a Barcelona Escola Camp in Florida, he was invited to be a part of their academy which started in Summer 2014. After being with the program for just over a year, in October 2015, Diego was invited to train at the prestigious La Cantera academy for 2 weeks. The experience has made him appreciate what it takes to play at the highest level.
Following his draft to Major League Soccer (MLS) New England Revolution from Bethel University in the United States two years ago, former Jamaica youth player Dwayne Smith is now a plane ride away from exploiting his talent in Europe. Smith, formerly of Meadowbrook and Calabar High, is now awaiting the final international clearance so he can depart for Germany where he will be representing Wangen Football Club in the third-division league.
BSSNY Alumni Olivia Johnson is making waves in the 2000 group in the Olympic Development Program (ODP). She is a member of the OPD South team that that won the Regionals by going 5-0-0. They are now qualified for the Nationals to be played in Phoenix, Arizona from February 26-28, 2016. Olivia has been training with BSSNY for at least 4 years. According to Coach Horace, “Olivia has extremely fast foot speed and is very technical. I think she will really do well in this tournament.” BSSNY wishes Olivia and her team all the best.FEB 22, 2016
